Homeschooling is usually seen as a negative form of education in the USA. Children who are taught at home don’t have as much of an opportunity to interact with other children (Deane, “Homeschooling”, para.7). They won’t be as likely to interact with kids from other cultural and religious backgrounds. Interaction with other students is a very important factor for their growth in the later years of their lives when they must work with others in their job. “Interactions with other pupils are a crucial element of a child’s development” (Deane, “Homeschooling”, para. 7)
The kids who are homeschooled who miss out on public school won`t know about the diffrent religions. They also won`t know about the diffrent ethnic groups that they could learn about in public school.
