Homeschooling should be made illegal because it deprives the student of too many valuable opportunities. Homeschooled children miss out on important social interactions, experiencing different ethnic and social groups, and learning how to work as a team through sports. "School builds community" (SIRS Discoverer). If a student doesn't learn as a community how are they supposed to find their place in one as adults?’ Home schooling should not be encouraged because it denies the student of too many social interactions, and meeting kids or people of diffrent religions, and/or ethnic groups. They could also miss out on making some new friends at a public school.
